About Us
Thinking Things Over was the signature op-ed column of The Wall Street Journal, reserved to the Editor, dating to the 1930s. That column was dedicated to propagating the ideal of a society rooted in individual liberty. Topics for coverage included, but were not limited to, current events; economics, finance, and business; politics; history; theology; philosophy; psychology; technology; health/wellness/spirituality — and occasionally sports.
While we have no affiliation with the Wall Street Journal or its parent company, we are admirers of their journalistic integrity and standards for excellence set forth by the writers who penned this venerable column, including Robert Bartley, Vermont Royster, and earlier, Thomas F. Woodlock and William Henry Grimes. We seek to emulate that excellence here, via fact-based analysis and commentary, and scrupulous integrity in presentation.
